Our cottage features a traditional stonework facade, an original 19th century hearth and fireplace and lots of trinkets from days gone by.

The Ireland West Farm Stay Cottage has its roots in 19th century rural Mayo. The cottages foundations predate the great famine of 1845 and has been restored and renovated to create a unique farm stay experience.

The Stonework
The stonework of the Ireland West Farm Stay cottage has been created masterfully by expert stone worker Eddie Joe Dooney. From the lintels to the hearth stones and to the stone facade, Ireland West Farm Stay exudes traditional Ireland through its ancient stone work.
